King Wildebeest
Our King Wildebeest project started with a young 10-month-old bull King Hendry bought from Legadema. Hendry was put with young F1 heifers from day 1 and the first December he gave us 7 king bulls. He breeds exceptionally well. All of his bulls and heifers have fantastic markings and the bulls have larger horn measurements than Hendry himself.
Our King Wildebeest project began with a young 10-month-old bull named King Hendry, purchased from Legadema.
From day one, Hendry was introduced to a group of young F1 heifers, and in his very first breeding season that December, he produced seven outstanding King bulls.
Hendry proved himself to be an exceptional breeder, consistently passing on strong genetic traits, excellent body structure, and striking markings. Remarkably, all his progeny — both bulls and heifers — display the distinct dark contrast and bold patterning characteristic of the King Wildebeest, with the bulls often surpassing Hendry’s own horn measurements.
Over the years, we have built up an exceptional and well-balanced herd, reflecting both genetic depth and visual uniformity. Our current breeding bull, a son of King Hendry, now measures over 27 inches, carrying forward the strength, posture, and distinctive beauty that define our King Wildebeest line.
