Game Drives

All of the game drives are conducted by an experienced wildlife guide who is experienced in scouring the bush for animals. Enjoy your game viewing experience from our open safari vehicles as you look for the various animals and birds on Langkloof, as well as taking in the stunning views.

Bird Watching

At Langkloof Game Farm you can view a number of birds at your leisure in their unspoilt natural habitat. The farm has a variety of habitats, including mountains, grasslands, and bushveld, providing habitats to some 160+ different bird species recorded on the farm. The farm also boasts numerous dams attracting a wide variety of water birds. If you are lucky you may even see a number of vultures flying over the farm.

Langkloof offers the opportunity to hike among zebra, giraffe, kudu, impala, red hartebeest, buffalo, reedbuck, waterbuck, bushbuck as well as many of the smaller mammals such as duiker, steenbok, black-backed jackal, baboon, warthog and bushpig. Viewing game on foot is a very special experience as one can often get unexpectedly close to them.

Mountain Biking

There are few things more rewarding than mountain biking through nature. On Langkloof you can explore the exquisite mountain ranges of the Waterberg by mountain biking on the laid out paths. You will most likely encounter a number of animals and birds on your ride, making your cycle a truly memorable one.

Trail Running

Whether you are preparing for a marathon or simply running for leisure, Langkloof is the ideal place to go for a run. We have various trail runs on offer with distances of 4km, 10km and 20km available. Trail runs at Langkloof include a combination of terrains such as rocky paths, thick sand and steep mountains.
