Roan
We started our Roan breeding project in 2018, acquiring our foundation herd — a bull and select cows from Thaba Tholo.
With our expertise in Roan management and breeding, we achieved an exceptional 100% survival rate with our first calves, a result we are truly proud and thankful for.
Our Roan project has since expanded to include herds on the reserve, where we are currently monitoring their adaptation and performance in a free-roaming environment.
Our ultimate goal is to breed strong, self-sustaining Roans that can thrive naturally without human intervention.
