The common Cape Eland roam freely on the open farm, thriving under natural conditions that reflect our commitment to sustainable, low-intervention wildlife management. On Rietpoort, our Livingstone Eland breeding project focuses on maintaining the distinct characteristics of this impressive subspecies — known for their darker coats, striking body size, and elegant horn structure.

Through careful selection and responsible management, we aim to produce strong, well-balanced Eland that adapt easily to their environment while showcasing exceptional genetic and physical qualities.
